Insua signed a contract till the end of the year with Aldosivi, arriving on a free switch after the Galaxy declined his possibility on the end of the 2020 season. The move marks Insua’s return to his native Argentina after coming up via Boca Juniors’ academy earlier than leaving for Europe, first when signing for Liverpool in 2007.
Insua joined the Galaxy forward of the 2020 season and played 22 matches in his lone MLS season. Since Insua’s departure. the Galaxy have signed Jorge Villafana in a commerce with the Portland Timbers to spice up their full back ranks.
