New York Red Bulls sign US youth international Cameron Harper from Celtic

The New York Red Bulls have acquired winger Cameron Harper from Scottish giants Celtic, the membership introduced Friday.

Harper, 19, is a US youth international who most not too long ago appeared with the U-20 national team. He made his senior debut with Celtic in January after spending time with their youth sides, becoming a member of the storied membership in 2018. 

“We’re delighted to welcome Cameron to our membership,” head of sport Kevin Thelwell said in a membership assertion. “Cameron is a pointy young talent who has been rising by means of the ranks of Celtic and the U.S. Youth National Teams. Cameron possesses psychological, bodily, and technical attributes that make us imagine he has a vibrant future, and we’re happy that he has determined to take the subsequent step in his career with us.”

A local of California, Harper started his youth career at Pateadores FC within the old U.S. Soccer Growth Academy. He is the newest young addition for the Red Bulls this winter, following the likes of Wikelman Carmona, Tom Edwards, Andres Reyes and extra rising abilities. 

“I’m very happy to have Cameron join our team,” head coach Gerhard Struber said in a launch. “Cameron is an thrilling attacking player, with athleticism and sturdy technical capability.
