Real Salt Lake sign Anderson Julio on loan from Liga MX’s San Luis

Real Salt Lake have acquired winger Anderson Julio on loan from Liga MX side San Luis, the membership introduced Friday. 

Julio, 24, has made solely eight begins in Mexico after being acquired in January of 2020. Previous to San Luis, he starred for Ecuadorian side LDU Quito, scoring 27 goals and including 26 assists in 134 career matches throughout all competitions.

“We’re thrilled so as to add a player of Anderson’s capability and high quality to our roster,” GM Elliot Fall said in a membership assertion.  “He’s a player that we’ve been waiting for a number of years now and tried to accumulate earlier than he went to Mexico.  The chance arose once more to bring him in and we jumped at it.  We’re wanting forward to what he brings to the group and what he’ll contribute to a profitable 2021 marketing campaign.”

The winger joins an attacking group full of competition, alongside Justin Meram, Jeizon Ramirez, Albert Rusnak and extra.
