Under the baton of Slovak coach Adrian Guľa, the football players of Viktoria Plzeň started their winter preparations for the spring part of the league. Pilsen players will prepare at home.
Especially for the coronavirus pandemic, the Czech club did not plan to concentrate abroad. “We decided to stay at home because we have great conditions here as well. There is a heated area, two natural grasses, artificial grass, a workout playground with a hill, quality fitness facilities. Above-standard level,” Guľa told the club website.
The ninth team of the Czech league after the autumn part has already completed its first training, now the players are waiting for tests. “We want to check how the players are doing and to get essential information about them. Then we will have two-phase trainings until the preparatory matches with Hradec Králové, then we will start the league regime,” Guľa added.
Jindřich Staňek and Pavel Šulc returned from the guest team to the team. Lukáš Matějka returned with him and Josef Koželuh and Václav Míka joined the team from the B-team.
